Akshara Dasoha workers seek release of honorarium

August 28, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking timely release of monthly honorarium and a hike of the same, Akshara Dasoha workers under the banner of AIUTUC, staged a demonstration in front of the ZP office here on Thursday  as part of a Statewide protest.

Contending that they are engaged in class room cleaning works and garden maintenance in School premises and activities related to distribution of food and milk to children, despite the closure of Schools on account of COVID-19 pandemic, the protestors urged the Government to release their honorarium for the current year  at the earliest and thus come to their rescue.

Association office-bearers Harish, Muddukrishna, Raju, Geethamma and others took part in the demonstration.
