Alleging intimidation, tea shop owner complains against APMC Vice-President

Mysuru: One Somu running a tea shop in the premises of Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC) yard in Bandipalya on Nanjangud Road has registered a complaint with Mysuru South Rural Police alleging that APMC Vice-President Basavaraj had intimidated him on mobile phone regarding the shifting of the tea shop.

Somu, in his complaint, stated that he was running the tea shop obtained through a tender and had sought a change of place in the APMC premises, He has alleged that in that context, Basavaraj had intimidated him on phone with dire consequences which have all been recorded.

The Rural Police are investigating the case.
