An appeal to MCC Commissioner

May 12, 2022

Sir,

Last year’s monsoon rains had damaged almost all homes in and around N.R. Mohalla, particularly near Abul Kalam Azad Circle which connects to Mysuru – Bengaluru road.

I would like to bring to the notice of MCC Commissioner that repeated appeals to the Engineer and the Health Officer of MCC through WhatsApp texts to clear the storm water drains of silt and plastics, which blocks the smooth flow of rain water, did not yield any result.

Hence, I once again request the MCC Commissioner to instruct the officials concerned to act before the monsoon season starts and help us to have sleepful nights.

– R. Sukumar, N.R. Mohalla, 7.5.2022
