Annapoorna Kuruvina Koppa (69), younger sister of late journalist Rajashekar Koti and a resident of Ramakrishnanagar here, passed away in the wee hours of today.

A trekker and a marathoner, she leaves behind her husband Veerappa Kuruvina Koppa, sons Sunil and Sanjay, daughters-in-law Nayana Kuruvina Koppa and Chaya, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds this afternoon, according to family sources.
