Annual camp at Mahajana College provides legal awareness

Mysuru/Mysore: Mahajana First Grade College had organised a week-long special annual camp 2019-20 recently at its premises in Jayalakshmipuram here. The College, in association with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), had organised a legal awareness programme and a campaign on Indian Constitution.

Inaugurating the programme, DLSA Member-Secretary B.P. Devamane opined that legal awareness is needed for all in society. He said that DLSA has been providing legal help free to the poor and women. He asked people to come out of superstition.

Panel Advocate K. Supriya briefed on the salient points of the Indian Constitution.

College’s Law Department Head Vani presided. NSS Officers Dr. A.G. Dharmesh, Keshavamurthy, Camp Convenors Reshma and Niranjan and others were present.
