Mysuru/Mysore: A programme was organised by MMK&SDM Women’s College at its premises in Krishnamurthypuram here yesterday to celebrate the National Youth Day commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Inaugurating the programme by offering floral tribute to a portrait of Swami Vivekananda, University of Mysore (UoM) Professor Dr. Niranjan Vanalli, recalling the wonderful speech of the Swami in Chicago, USA, 120 years ago, said that the speech is still an inspiration for the youth. He asked students to stand on their own feet without seeking support.
