Antarprerana ’18 Inter-Collegiate IT, Media & Management Fest

Mysuru: The valedictory of Antarprerana ’18,  a two-day Inter-Collegiate IT, Media and Management Fest, was held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, in Bogadi 2nd Stage recently.

The two-day Fest was aimed at providing a learning platform for the participating students to hone their essential skills beyond academics in different fields of Management, IT and Media.

The Fest recorded nearly 370 participant registrations from various institutions in and around Mysuru.

Events like Code it (Computer Science), Stock Sharks (Commerce and Management)Mediatrix (Media and Communication), Obscura (Photography), Treasure Hunt and Mini Cricket provided real time scenario of workplace while providing entertainment and fun.

Cash prizes and mementos for the winners were given away on the occasion.

The cultural extravaganza on the second day added colour to Antarprerana ’18 with its singing and dance competitions. Symphonia — the performing arts club at Amrita presented The Ensemble (a string of popular hits).  

Prof. Vidya C. Pai, Principal, Amrita School of Art and Sciences, Br. Sunil Dharmapal, Director, Br. Venugopal, Correspondent graced the occasion.

The prize winners of the Fest are as follows:

Code IT: 1st prize – T. Abhilash & Mohit Mittal, De Paul College, Mysuru; 2nd prize – T. Sulaiman & Saahil Bhatnagar, De Paul College, Mysuru.

Stock Sharks: 1st – Yash S. Jain and Ayush D. Darla, Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts; 2nd – Roshan Patel and R. Rakesh, St. Joseph’s First Grade College.

Mediatrix: 1st – Kritman R. Goel, Sareen Khan and Gagandeep Krishna, Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts; 2nd – S. Yashwanth, H.B. Madhusudhan and R. Diwakar, Vishwakavi Kuvempu First Grade College.

Obscura: 1st – K. Guru Prasad, St. Joseph’s First Grade College; 2nd – Amogha G. Paladhi, Yuvaraja’s College.

Treasure Hunt: Winners – S. Sagar Singh, M.V. Kushal and M.S. Sampretha Rao, Yuvaraja’s College.

Mini Cricket (Men): 1st – Sapient First Grade College; 2nd – Maharaja Institute of Technology.

Mini Cricket (Women): Winners – JSS Women’s College.

Solo Song: 1st –  B.R. Shankar, Vidya Vikas College; 2nd – D. Rashmi, SJCE College.

Duet Song: 1st – Jeffery and Pranjali, St. Joseph’s First Grade College.

Solo Dance: 1st – Rahul S. Rao, Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts; 2nd – G. Srishti, De pauls First Grade College.

Group Dance: 1st – Rahul S. Rao and Team, Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts; 2nd –  P. Indresh and team, Sheshadripuram First Grade College.

Overall Championship was bagged by Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts (MICA).
