Mysuru: Even as the CM-designate H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) is all ready to be sworn-in as the 25th CM of the State this evening in Bengaluru, the leaders and workers of the BJP protested against the unholy alliance of Congress and JD(S), observing it as ‘Anti-People’s Mandate Day.’
The leaders and the workers gathered near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Square here this morning, wearing black bands and some of them even sporting black shirts, raised slogans against the new Government formation.
“The Congress-JD(S) alliance has hijacked the people’s mandate and this is nothing but an unholy alliance to grab power. The Congress, in spite of being rejected by the people of the State, has made a back-door entry just to be in power. The people should teach them a proper lesson,” said MLA L. Nagendra.
He said that this unholy alliance will not last long and they will not be able to run the Government even for a few months. “Being the single largest party, we will sit in the Opposition and will not allow any scams or scandals to take place. We will return to power with a majority very soon,” he said.
