Mysuru:  Strongly condemning the statements made by some Congress leaders of the State regarding the ceasefire between the two countries, former MP Prathap Simha said that India, apart from taking on Pakistan, has to battle the antagonists (Hitashatru) within.

Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Prathap Simha took strong exception to Minister Santosh Lad’s adverse comment against Prime Minister Modi regarding the Indo-Pak ceasefire.

Accusing two Ministers (Santosh Lad and Priyank Kharge) of cawing (cry of a crow) everyday, Simha said that these Ministers do not know what they are speaking about.

Alleging that Minister Santosh Lad, who is a Maratha, instead of roaring like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is speaking like Abdul Khan, a Muslim leader, Simha said that by speaking so, Lad must have thought that he is a scholarly man. But the fact is that he cannot understand what he himself speaks, he ridiculed.

Questioning Lad whether he is intelligent enough to advise Modi, Simha said that Lad should understand that it was PM Modi-led Central Government which made all the arrangements to bring back Kannadigas from Pahalgam, after terrorists targeted Hindu tourists, killing 26 of them. 

Asking Lad to stop making nonsense statements against the PM, he challenged the Minister to come up with facts on the Health Kits scam that is said to have occurred in the Labour Department, which portfolio he holds.

Accusing Lad of speaking arrogantly just because of the illegal money earned from mining, Simha said that by making loose comments on Modi, Lad wants  to show to the world that he is honest, which, however, is ignored by the people.

Venting out his ire against Kolar Congress MLA Kothur Manjunath for making loose comments on India’s attack on Pak terror bases with the conduct of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ he sarcastically said that perhaps Manjunath does not know the difference between ‘Sindoor’ and ‘Sindhuri.’

Stating that Manjunath only knows about Real Estate matters and nothing else, Simha said that most Congress leaders do not have any understanding of the country and also about war against enemy countries.
