Apollo BGS Hospitals launches free cardiac camp at H.D. Kote

Mysore/Mysuru: Apollo BGS Hospitals in association with H.D. Kote Government Hospital launched free cardiac care services that will be organised every fortnight for the benefit of the people at H.D. Kote. The camp was formally inaugurated on Aug. 27 by MLA Anil Chikkamadu in the presence of Dr. K.H. Prasad, District Health Officer, Dr. T. Ravikumar, Taluk Health Officer, Dr. Bhaskar, Medical Administrative Officer and Dr. H.G. Gowtham, Consultant Cardiologist, Apollo BGS Hospitals.

N.G. Bharateesha Reddy, Vice-President and Unit Head, Apollo BGS Hospitals, said “We believe in supporting people as cardiac health services is the need of the hour. We are hopeful of the people of H. D. Kote and the surrounding areas benefiting through this camp.”

Dr. Arun Srinivas, Chief Cardiologist and HoD, Apollo Heart Institutes, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, called upon the people of H.D. Kote to make use of these services that can avert any major cardiac emergencies.

 The camp will be conducted every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at H. D. Kote General Hospital from 9 am to 1 pm. Free Cardiologist Consultation and ECHO screening will be made available to the patients. 

The Apollo Heart Institutes performs a multitude of treatments and procedures in Cardiology and Cardiothoracic surgery. The hospital has a record of performing the most complicated coronary artery bypass surgery for all types of valvular heart diseases, paediatric heart surgery, adult and paediatric heart transplantation.
