Mysuru: The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited online applications from backward class students who have gained admission to professional courses through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), for extending a loan of Rs.1 lakh (maximum) with an annual interest of two percent, under Arivu Educational loan scheme.

The loan will be adjusted for the fees to be paid by beneficiary students during payment of fees to the CET.

Backward class students, belonging to Category-1, 2A, 3A and 3B (Barring Vishwakarma and sub-castes, minority communities and sub-castes) can apply. The application form can be downloaded from the Corporation’s website: www.karnata ka.gov.in/dbcdc

Last date to apply online is July 31. The application forms can also be collected from the Corporation’s office before July 25 and the same must be returned before Aug.4.
