Mysuru:  Demanding better quality food and other civic amenities, hostel inmates and students of Yuvaraja’s College staged a demonstration near the hostel on Friday.

Alleging that they were not served quality food and water was scare in the hostel, which also lacked proper toilet facilities, the students blamed the cooks for poor quality food.

The students later withdrew their protest after the college dean and hostel warden assured to set things right in the hostel.
