The  city’s DIET has invited applications from eligible students for the NMMS (National Means Cum Merit Scholarship) exam.

Eighth standard students studying in schools and annual income of whose parents does not exceed Rs.3.5 lakh are eligible to apply.

The selected students will be given an annual scholarship of Rs.12,000 to pursue their subsequent education from 9th to 12th standards.

The eligible students should submit the required documents to their school Head Master, following which the Head Master will have to send the applications online only through their login code. The last date for submission of application forms is Oct.30.

The exam will be held on Dec.20 at all Taluk Centres, according to a press release.
