Appointed as AAP Mysuru District President

Mysore/Mysuru: Malavika Gubbivani, Head of Communications in BBMP campaign team of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Bengaluru, has been appointed as the President of AAP Mysuru District Unit.

After working with the IT giant Infosys in Bengaluru and Mysuru for nearly 15 years, she joined the AAP in 2014 with the idea of bringing about “change” in the system and carrying out social work in tune with the party’s ideology. 

Concerned with the apathy and lack of political knowledge of the common people, she started an NGO that is aiming to bring about political awareness among citizens.

After officially joining the Aam Aadmi Party in 2014, she actively involved in the social and political activism and also engaged in several anti-corruption drives, pro-Kannada campaigns, save environment campaigns.

Malavika is an alumnus of Sri Jayachamarajendra Engineering College (SJCE), Mysuru. As a versatile personality, she is a State-level basketball player and a National-level Gold Medallist in Taekwondo.
