Bengaluru: Governor Vajubhai R. Vala, who is also the Chancellor of all State Universities, has reportedly taken Higher Education Minister Basavaraj Rayareddy to task for sending the rejected list of Vice-Chancellors for Bangalore University and University of Mysore (UoM), for the second time.

The VC Selection Committee had recommended the names of C.P. Siddashrama as VC of UoM and that of Dr. Sangameshwar Patil for Bangalore University.

Governor Vala, rejecting the list had asked the Government to submit a fresh list. But the Government sent the rejected list once again to the Governor, which irked him.

Governor Vala, taking the matter seriously, has asked the Minister to submit a fresh list of names, it is learnt.
