Mysuru: Arivu School in Lingambudhi Palya celebrated its annual day ‘Arivu Habba’ at the school premises recently. Karnataka Sahitya Academy President Dr. B.V. Vasanth Kumar and Science Communicator Dr. T.S. Channesh were the chief guests. 

Unique feature of Arivu Habba is that the parents and teachers of the Arivu School prepare and train themselves for the event beforehand. This year, parents together with teachers exhibited their talents and entertained the students and audience beginning with rendering of Vachanas and devotional compositions. Colourful fusion of Mohiniyattam, Bihu and Rajasthani folk dances, dance drama on Manteswamy Kavya followed by staging of play Sunnada Suttu enthralled the audience. 

Arivu School Managing Trustee Dr. M.C. Manohar, School Secretary Janardhan, Berty Olivera, M. Manjula and others were present.
