Replica of Halmidi inscription to be installed at Kalamandira premises

Mysuru: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund, The Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (P) Ltd (BRBNMPL) will be installing a replica of Halmidi inscription, which is the oldest Kannada inscription, in Kalamandira premises in city.

BRBNMPL Managing Director K.G. Vishwanathan laid the foundation stone to install the replica of the oldest Kannada inscription at Kalamandira premises on Friday. BRBNMPL has released Rs. 80 lakh in the third phase of various development activities in Kalamandira premises. With CSR funds released by BRBNMPL, beautification of park at the premises has already been taken up and completed and now other works such as electrification, acoustic room treatment and construction of shelter for drama troupes have been taken up.

Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department H. Channappa was present during the foundation stone laying ceremony.
