‘ArogyaNandana’ till Sept. 15

The ‘ArogyaNandana’ programme, which was started on Aug. 15 by the State Government in view of the third COVID-19 wave and its potential impact on children since, will go on till Sept. 15.

Informing about the programme, District Health and Family Welfare Officer (DHO), has in a press release, said that the programme was started in association of Health Department, Department of Public Instruction, Women & Child Development Department and Rural Development & PanchayatRaj Department.

Pointing out that health check-up has been conducted on 63,801 children out of the total 6,50,842 children in the district, the DHO has urged the public to avail the services.

Action will be taken to provide nutritious food by the Department Women & Child Development Department and ration to school children under Mid-Day Meal Scheme. These programmes will be taken up by the teams formed at Primary Health Centres, informed the DHO in the press release.
