Auto driver booked for wheelie stunt on JLB Road

Mysore/Mysuru: Devaraja Traffic Police have registered a case against the driver of a passenger autorickshaw (KA-02-D-5313) for performing midnight wheelie stunt with the auto on JLB Road between Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle and Dasappa Circle.

The auto diver, against whom the case has been registered, is Harish.

A video of Harish performing wheelie using the auto was recorded and uploaded as WhatsApp status. Devaraja Traffic Police, who had come across the video, took steps to trace auto driver Harish and finally found him with the auto at Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Circle.

On questioning Harish, he is said to have confessed of performing wheelie at about 12.30 midnight on Mar. 24.

Devaraja Police has warned auto drivers and two-wheeler riders not to perform any type of stunts on roads as it is violation of traffic rules and legal action will be taken against such erring drivers and riders.
