Mysuru: A 27-year-old auto driver was reportedly stabbed by a group of miscreants in K.R. Police Station limits late on Wednesday night.

Shivaraj, a resident of Vidyaranyapuram, is the victim. Shivaraj is said to have been stabbed by a group of over 10 miscreants at Sunnadakeri in an attempt to murder him.

Shivaraj, who sustained stab injuries, was rushed to a private hospital, where he is said to be recovering. Old enmity is said to be the cause of the attack.

K.R. Police, who have registered a, are investigating.
