Auto drivers launch signature campaign against cabs

Mysuru: Autorickshaw drivers under the banner of Samyuktha Karnataka Autorickshaw Drivers and Owners Welfare  Association, launched a Signature Campaign at the City Railway Station Circle (Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle) on Oct. 31 morning, against the unauthorised operation of cabs and taxis.

Accusing cab agencies such as OLA, Uber and Taxi For Sure  among others for operating cabs in city limits without permit. The auto drivers wanted the RTO authorities to put an end to such unauthorised operation of cabs, which has snatched their livelihood.

Association President M.V. Srinivas Mitra, Karnataka Kavalu Pade President M. Mohankumar Gowda  and others took part.
