 The Union Government will select three persons who have worked for over 10 years in Child Development, Child Protection and Child Welfare sectors for Rajiv Gandhi Manav Seva Award.

The award carries a silver medal, cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation. The award will also be given to five organisations which have striven for child welfare and the award carries a cash prize of Rs. 3 lakh and a citation. Paid employees of the child welfare organisations are not eligible to apply.

Applications can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director of the Department of Women and Child Welfare, High Tension Line Road, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru – 17 and submit the same before May 15. For details contact Ph: 0821-2498031 or 2495432.
