Mysuru: The birthday of  V. Siddharthacharry, Founder-Patron of Acharya Vidya Kula, which falls on July 12, was celebrated as Awards Day at the institution recently.  Dr. Abhimanyu Acharya, UGC Professor of Eminence, was the chief guest.

On the occasion, cash awards were presented to toppers of Std. VI to X. The School topper in ICSE Board exam-2019 Shreeja Basappa received the Founder Patron’s Award, consisting of a silver plaque and a cash award. Awards were also presented to the toppers in each subject in the ICSE 2019 exam; Jyotsna Haravu Samskrutha Puraskara (to toppers in Sanskrit of classes VI to X) and  Smt. Padma Haravu Memorial Mathematics Awards (to toppers in Mathematics classes VI to X) were presented. 

Awards were also given to students, who showed most improvement in Maths from class VIII to X. Career Assessment Awards were given to two students each in class IX and X.
