Awareness programme on consumer rights held

Mysore/Mysuru: An awareness programme on consumer rights was organised by Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) at Ananthageetha Vidyalaya in the city recently. Posters like ‘consumer is the king’, ‘wake up to your rights’ and ‘be a responsible citizen’, were displayed at the event and the messages were explained to the children.

School President Venugopal Kalloor said that the MGP was doing a noble deed in creating awareness about consumer rights, voting rights and other essentials for everyone to know and assimilate. He called upon the young crowd to join hands with  MGP for a socially aware society.

Principal Srikanth Amarnath, Vice-Principal Lokesh, teachers Indu Kumar, Kaveramma, Usha, Shilpa, Biligiri Rangaiah and student leaders Chinmayagowda, Kushal Raj and Monica  were present.
