Bags eight medals

Jayanth, son of S. Purushothama (Head Constable, Mysuru City Police) and Chandrakala, residents of Kailaspuram, Mandi Mohalla, has secured eight medals — 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze — in Pistol Shooting at the Karnataka State-level Shooting Competition and Championship-2018 organised by Karnataka State Rifle Association at Sports Authority of India campus in Bengaluru from July 2 to 8.

Medals details: • 25 Meter Centre Fire Pistol (NR) – Gold; • 25 Meter Standard Pistol (NR) – Gold; • 25 Meter Standard Pistol (ISSF) – Gold; • 25 Meter Centre Fire Pistol (NR Team) – Gold; • 50 Meter Free Pistol (ISSF) – Gold; • 25 Meter Center Fire Pistol (ISSF) – Silver; • 25 Meter Center Fire Pistol (ISSF Team) – Silver; • 10 Meter Air Pistol Mixed Event – Bronze.
