Mysuru:  ‘Boudha Dharma Darshana,’ a Sanskrit book authored by Dr. Sharathchandra Swamiji of Sri Kundurmath, has been selected for the Best Book Prize given by Karnataka Sahitya Academy for the year 2016 under Research Category.

A disciple of Dr. Sri Immadi Shiva Basava Swamiji, he is serving as Assistant Professor at Karnataka Sanskrit University and has authored many books.

Dr. Sharathchandra Swamiji, who has presented papers at many National and International Conventions, is also a recipient of  Prof. Hiriyanna Award.

It may be mentioned here that this book was awarded Best Indology Book Award by the Sanskrit University last year.
