Mysuru: Renowned painter G.M. Hegde Taragoda has bagged the coveted M. Veerappa Endowment Award instituted in JSS Mahavidyapeetha in memory of M. Veerappa, a pioneer in Vachana paintings and Founder of Mysore Toys company.

Hegde is the third winner of the annual award. The award will be presented at a function to take place at a later date.
