Baiyappanahalli Railway Station renamed after Sir M. Visvesvaraya

Bengaluru: The Baiyappanahalli Railway Station Terminal in Bengaluru will be henceforth called as Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru.

A special gazette notification issued by the Government of Karnataka reads: “Government of India has ‘no objection’ to name the new station terminal at Baiyappanahalli, Bengaluru. The name of station board will be in Devanagari script (Hindi), Roman script (English) and Regional language script (Kannada).”
