MLA launches civil works

Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing the developmental works in his Constituency, K.R. MLA S.A. Ramdas on Sunday performed guddali puja (ground- breaking ceremony) for a couple of civil works totally costing Rs. 2.75 crore.

The works included asphalting of Vidyaranyapuram Sewage farm — Nanjangud link road (2km long) at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crore and Underground Drainage (UGD) works along the stretch from St.Mary’s Circle to Yelethota road, estimated to cost Rs.25 lakh. While the asphalting works will be taken up under the MLA Local Area Development fund, the drainage works will be funded by the MCC.

Ramdas directed the authorities to expedite the works.

Corporators Shobha Sunil and B.V. Manjunath, local leaders Santosh, Adarsh and Doddashivu, PWD AEE Raju and other officials were present.
