Bakrid: City Police holds peace meeting

Mysuru: Ahead of Monday’s Bakrid Festival, the City Police held a meeting with heads of various communities at the Conference Hall in City Police Commissioner’s office here yesterday. Addressing the meeting, DCP (L&O) M. Muthuraj gave tips on peaceful and harmonious Bakrid celebrations. 

The DCP warned of legal action against those trying to disturb peace and harmony during the festival. On their part, the religious heads gave their suggestions on celebrating the festival with peace and harmony. 

DCP (Crime & Traffic) B.T. Kavitha, ACPs and Inspectors of all Police Stations took part.
