Bank clerk commits suicide

Mysuru: Darshan (30), a native of Aggudu in Arasikere taluk of Hassan, committed suicide by hanging self at a lodge in city. The incident came to light yesterday afternoon after room boys got suspicious and informed the Police.

The Police said that Darshan, who worked as a clerk with Vijaya Bank in Nanjangud, was married just four months back. He had moved into a room in Mannars Lodge behind Sangam Talkies.

Inspector H.M. Kantharaju and ASI Mahadevappa visited the spot and conducted mahazar.

Later, the body was shifted to MMC&RI for post mortem.  Lashkar Police, who have registered a case are investigating.
