Banks to remain closed for 4 days

Mysuru: Banks in the city will remain closed for four consecutive days starting from Friday, Sept. 29. Due to the closure, some banking services might also get affected. ATM may run out of cash within two days after cash infusion.

ATM users are advised to withdraw money well in advance to avoid last minute rush. With festivals being celebrated, a lot of financial transactions are carried out during the time.

Sept. 29 is Ayudha Puja and Sept. 30 is Vijayadashami which is followed by a Sunday (Oct. 1) a public holiday. The following day (Monday Oct. 2) is also a closed holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
