Mysuru:  Basavanna (66), a resident of N.R. Mohalla, passed away on Monday following brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, three daughters, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Chattanahalli Palya village of Varuna hobli in the taluk on  Tuesday, according to family sources.
