Mysuru:  A humorous play ‘Bega baaro aliya’ will be staged under the aegis of Pravara Art Studio Trust and Rotary Brindavan Mysore on Dec.8 at 5 pm at the Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises here.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, the play Director Hanuram Sanjiv said that the 65 minute play would make the audience go into raptures through its hilarious non-stop comedy.

The play with the theme ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakum’ will be essayed by lead characters of Vishwa and his wife Vishalu, who frequently quarrel over the marriage of their daughter Laila. A tenant of their house, Lawyer Ramdas usually intervenes and mediates with the warring couple to douse the fight in a humorous angle. In the meanwhile, three men aspire to marry Laila and the play focuses on whom Laila will wed, explained Sanjiv.
