An open manhole on Buddha Marga in Siddarthanagar is posing danger to the public, residents, children and motorists as the broken concrete cover of the manhole is yet to be replaced by the civic authorities. Authorities concerned are urged to take this issue seriously before any untoward incidents take place.

It happens in India that manholes are left uncovered, used bore well are left open for children to fall into them, and so on all because the Supreme court has failed to develop a law of torts for independent India.
