Mysore/Mysuru: Karamveer Chakra Dr. Renu Agrawal, former Chief Scientist and Rural Programme Coordinator, CFTRI, Mysuru, has bagged the prestigious national award, “Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar” and a certificate of  Education Excellence by KTK Foundation, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India (GoI).

She received the award for her exemplary contribution, efforts and dedication in the field of education and dissemination to society. The event was held online while award was sent by post.

Dr. Renu Agrawal is an Advisor in many National Committees of Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology. She is working in the Consultative Group of Advisors to the Principal Scientific Advisor of GoI.

Author of many books to improve human health and agriculture, she is a reviewer of 15 International Journals and editor of 7 International Journals.
