Bharatanatyam Arangetram of Rhiya Nanaiah in Delhi

The Bharatanatyam Arangetram of Rhiya Nanaiah, disciple of Kanaka Srinivasan, has been organised at C.D. Deshmukh auditorium, India International Centre, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi, on Aug. 7 at 6.45 pm, under the aegis of Nrithyaranjani.

She is the daughter of Priya and Nanaiah Kalengada. Rhiya’s maternal grandparents Wg. Cdr. and Mrs. M.D. Aiyanna are the residents of Gokulam in Mysuru.

Lalit Mansingh, former Foreign Secretary of India and Vice-President of ICCR, will be the chief guest. Lt. Gen. B.K. Bopanna, Director-General, Amity Indian Military Education Society, will be the guest of honour.

Profile: Rhiya’s initiation into Bharatanatyam began at the age of seven. As a disciple of Kanaka Srinivasan during the last seven years, Rhiya has performed at various programmes including one at Narada Gana Sabha in Chennai.
