Mysuru: Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance, Mysuru, has organised Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Shreya, a disciple of Vidu. Mithra Naveen at Rama Govinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar here on Oct. 1 at 5.30 pm.
Prof. Ravivarma Kumar, Ex- Advocate General, Government of Karnataka, K. Arkesh, retired Inspector General of Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Vidu. Arathi Arun, Founder-Director of Sri Ganesha Sangeetha Nrityalaya Charitable Trust, will be the guests of honour.
The programme direction, choreography, Natuvangam will be by Vidu. Mithra Naveen accompanied by Vid. Naveen M.S. Andagar on vocal, Vid. Vivek Krishna on flute, Vid. G.S. Nagraj on mridanga, Vid. Dasappa on morching.
Profile: Shreya, daughter of Prof. Ramesh Babu and Prof. Geethanjali couple, is a dedicated and a passionate dancer. She is the disciple of Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen of Nadavidyalaya Academy of Music and Dance. Shreya is currently pursuing her final year in Mechanical Engineering at JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru. Artistically she has completed her pre-Vidwat and pursuing her post-Vidwat conducted by KSEEB and has given numerous programmes in and around Mysuru.
