Mysuru: The Bharathanatyam Rangapravesha of Chaitra Sathyanarayana will be held on Oct. 7 at 5.30 pm  at Jaganmohan Palace auditorium in city. She is the disciple of Vidushi Vidyalatha Jeerige, a noted dancer running Smaran Performing Arts School in Santa Clara, California.

Presently settled in California, Chaitra is the daughter of B. Sathyanarayana  and Meenakshi couple of Mysuru. She studied BE at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering and obtained MS from University of Maryland. She has passed junior and senior-level Bharathanatyam exams conducted by Government of Karnataka.
