Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana Mysuru bags Outstanding Chapter Award

Mysore/Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS), Mysuru Chapter, bagged Outstanding Chapter Award in the Karnataka State Convention of BJS held on Apr.5 at Bengaluru.

Among the 49 Chapters in the State, 19 were recognised and Mysuru bagged the Outstanding Chapter Award.

Karnataka State Unit President Kishore Roonwal, who announced the list of winners, said that Mysuru Chapter is one of the best Chapters in the National-level also, covering all the avenues of monthly foundation programmes in addition to multiple programmes on several occasions and in various fields, including personality development training, students assessment, career guidance, Vidyadaan, Smart Girl programmes empowering the girls to face social challenges, Networking programmes, Medical camps, cooking and baking classes.

In his report, Prakash Gulecha highlighted the projects conducted by the Sanghatana. Trainer for Smart Girls Programme Chitti Babu was honoured for holding the highest number of training sessions in Karnataka.

National President Nandkishore Sankhala, in his address, appreciated the city of Mysuru and its fragrance in the service.

National General Secretary Pankaj Chopra briefed about the activities of Jain Sanghatana.

Immediate Past President Rajendra Lunkar, National Membership Head (South) Omprakash Lunavat, CEO Komal Jain, President Rajan Baghmar  and General Secretary B.K. Deepak Kumar Jain also spoke.

Regional President Sukhraj Vinayakiya, Past President Ashok Salecha, Imm. Past President Praveen Lunkar, Treasurer Manohar Sankhla, Vice-President Amit Chouhan, Kushal Palrecha, Nemichand Barola, Secretary Navaratan Pitaliya and Sunil Patva, Ladies Wing Chairperson Sharmila Dhoka, Vice-Chairperson Santosh J. Salecha, Secretary Seema Bohra, Members of the Chapter Mahaveerchand Mutha, Prakash Gandhi, Mahaveer Dhoka, Dharmchand Mutha, Ashok Burad, Goutham Gandhi, Yashwant Mutha, Jambu Mutha, Youth Members Nikhil Vora, Ladies Wing Members Leena Chouhan, Rekha Mutha were among those who received the Outstanding Chapter Award.
