Mysuru: TiE Mysuru has announced the election of Bhaskar Kalale, Chairman of EqualizeRCM – India, as its 2025-26 term President.

The formal handover ceremony took place during TiE Mysuru’s recent monthly event where outgoing President Dr. Mahesh Rao officially passed on the leadership baton to Kalale, marking a new phase in the organisation’s mission to empower entrepreneurs.

The installation ceremony featured a Masterclass on “Market-Oriented, Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship” by Kiran Bettadapur, an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, Patent Attorney, Supreme Court advocate, and Director at Blaze Ventures.

His session covered critical themes such as creative disruption, emerging business models, value creation and patentability, offering valuable insights on scaling businesses.

For TiE Mysuru, 2024 was significant with several accomplishments reinforcing its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship: It organised 12 Masterclasses, Sessions, Open Mics, and Networking events, drawing over 2,000 entrepreneurs and startups.

It implemented Karnataka’s only TiE University initiative, promoting student entrepreneurship with more than 70 applications from 31 institutions across 11 districts and awarded Rs. 3 lakh in cash prizes to three student startups and provided complimentary TiE Mysuru memberships worth Rs. 3 lakh to nine startup teams, along with mentorship and networking support. TiE co-hosted the prestigious TiE Global Summit 2024 in Mysuru, one of the world’s largest entrepreneurial conferences, attended by over 800 entrepreneurs globally.
