Mysuru: Nrithyagiri Director Dr. Kripa Phadke inaugurated ‘Bhava Sangama’ programme organised by Pratibhe Vedike at Dr. Pradeepkumar Hebri Auditorium in Vijaya College, Srirampura 2nd Stage, last evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kripa Phadke said that Vedikes should organise more programmes like this to promote artistes and their talents. There is a need for Rangamandira in Srirampura as more artistes, art patrons and cultural organisations are based here, she added.
On the occasion, retired Principal R.A. Kumar gave a lecture on ‘Kannadadalli Bhavageetegalu.’
KEONICS Chief S. Umesh and singer Dakshayani from Bengaluru were the chief guests.
Members of Sri Krupa Kala Balaga and Chetana Mahila Samaja recited Bhavageetes.
Vedike President S. Rajaratnam presided over the programme. A large number of art lovers enjoyed the programme.
