Bid to rob Maruthi Temple in T.K. Layout foiled

August 4, 2018

Mysuru:  A robber has attempted to enter the Maruthi Temple in T.K. Layout on Thursday night and steal from the place.

The CCTV camera has captured the footage of a masked man trying to break open the grill gate with an iron rod. The footage has also captured a car coming around 2.15 am and slowing down near the temple. Seeing the car approaching, the masked man escaped from the place.

When the priest came to the temple in the morning yesterday, he noticed the tampering of the grill gate and informed the Police.

Saraswathipuram Police immediately arrived at the spot, conducted mahazar and is checking the CCTV footage.

It may be recalled that recently on a single night there was serial robbery in Bogadi and Dattagalli with the rolling shutters of the shops broke open. The attempt again at Maruthi Temple is causing new problems to the Police.
