Holds meeting with Mysuru Division office-bearers

Mysuru:  BJP Yuva Morcha National Vice-President A.P. Muruganandam has called upon the young party workers to work with a mission for making the country Congress-free.

Addressing the Mysuru Division (Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Mandya, Kodagu and Ramanagaram) Yuva Morcha office-bearers at a private hotel here yesterday, Muruganandam said that the BJP was in power in many States and the workers should strive hard to dethrone the Congress in the State in the forthcoming Assembly polls.

Underlining the need for making the country Congress-free, he alleged that the Karnataka Congress had spent huge sums of money for the Gujarat Assembly polls held a couple of months ago. But despite the huge flow of money, the Congress could not win Gujarat, he said and highlighted the role of Yuva Morcha workers in the party’s victory.

Urging the workers to shun any differences, he called for use of modern gadgets and social media to aggressively launch the party’s poll campaign.

Accusing the State Congress of making frantic efforts to retain power through money and muscle power, he stressed on the need for thwarting such tactics of the Congress.

BJP Yuva Morcha State Secretary Harshavardhan, who also addressed the meeting, accused the State Government of misrule and corruption. Charging that the Government was not doing anything to stop the killing of Hindu activists, he called upon the youth workers to give their best for dethroning the Congress.

Yuva Morcha City President Gokul Govardhan, office-bearers Devaraj, Somashekar, Sampath, Shivakumar, Nagesh, Shankar and others were present.
