Mysore/Mysuru: The body of a woman staff of Mysore University Fine Arts College was found in a decomposed state at her house in Saraswathipuram yesterday evening.

The deceased is Mayadevi (55) and it is suspected that she may have died 3-4 days ago. The incident came to light when one of her relatives came to her house last evening, Police said.

Mayadevi, who was working as the Superintendent at the Fine Arts College, was married 22 years back but took divorce after three years of married life and was living alone.

Saraswathipuram Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
