Mysuru: Chutuku Sahitya Parishat District Wing and Koustuba Prakashana together had organised a programme at JSS Women’s College premises in Saraswathipuram here recently for the release of the book ‘Chutuku Chandana’ edited by Dr. Rathna Halappa Gowda.

Inaugurating the programme, District BJP President M. Shivanna opined that Chutuku Sahitya with due credentials for its brevity and quality is highly effective in literary sector and added that a proposal would be submitted to the Government for encouraging that sector.

He contended that Chutuku Sahitya with just four lines can convey good message as much as a prose.

Dr. Abhinava Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamiji released the book. Anveshane Seva Trust President Dr. MGR Urs spoke about the book. 

Kannada Sahitya Parishat Mysuru President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna, Parishat Central Committee President Thontadarya, Dr. Rathna Halappa Gowda, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mahila Sangha’s Mamata Suresh and others were present.
