Boverianda Kumari Ponnappa (Channira), aged 86 years,

passed away last night at her daughter’s  residence (E-1, # 605, Whitehouse Apartments, 6th Main Road, Ganesha Block, Govindaraj Garden, RT Nagar) in Bengaluru.

Originally from Buttangala village, Virajapet taluk and formerly a long time resident of Mysuru, she leaves behind two daughters (Kaliyanda Pita Ramesh and Pattada Praveen Thimmaiah), son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place at Hebbal Crematorium in Bengaluru tomorrow at 2 pm.
