Brahma Kalashabhishekotsava of Sri Jala Durga Parameshwari Devi in Bantwal from Apr. 17

Mysuru – The Prathista Banda Brahma Kalashabhishekotsava of Sri Jala Durga Parameshwari Devi will be performed at Sri Jala Durga Parameshwari Temple, Padpu-Anekal, Karopady village in Bantwal taluk, from Apr. 17 to 22.

Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Srimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharathi Thirtha Mahaswamiji, Srimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Vidhushekara Bharathi Mahaswamiji, Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Maha Samsthanam Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri and Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari Amma Karekura, Mysuru, will grace the occasion.

All Vydika, Religious and Cultural programmes will be conducted under the guidance and direction of Ved. Mo. Sri Parakaje Mahalinga Bhat and Ved. Mo. Sri Nadibailu Shankaranarayana Bhat. Paramapoojya Sri Gurudevananda Swamiji, Sri Gurudevadatta Samsthanam, Sri Kshetra, Odiyoor, will preside.

Apr.18: There will be Nruthya Vaibhava by the members of Sri Gopalakrishna Vidyarthi Parishat from 6 pm onwards.

Apr.19: Yakshagana Talamaddale from 2.30 pm onwards; Sudharma Sabhe – Dharmika Sabhe from 6 pm onwards; Bharatanatya feature Mahishamardini by Vidushi Kavya Bhat and Team of Shivanjali Nrutya Kalakendra, Perla, from 8 pm onwards.

Apr. 20: Mass Soundaryalahari Parayana from 2.30 pm;  Sudharma Sabhe – Dharmika Sabhe from 6 pm onwards; Raga-Bhakti-Bhava-Janapada Geetasangama by Sri Ramakrishna Katukukke and Team from 8 pm onwards.

Apr. 21: Yakshagana Bayalata Shambavi Vijaya by Sri Balipa, Patla and team from 2 pm onwards; Sudharma Sabhe – Dharmika Sabhe from 6 pm onwards; Dance programme by students of Anekallu Anganawadi and Dhwanitaranga Bhakti Rasamanjari by Muralidhar Kamath and team from 9 pm.

Apr. 22: Mass Soundaryalahari Parayana from 2 pm onwards; Sudharma Sabhe – Dharmika Sabhe from 5 pm onwards, according to a press release from Temple Managing Trustees O. Shama Bhat, Yogish Dange and Muralidhar Bhagavath.
