Burglars decamp with CCTV camera modem from house

March 15, 2019

Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house and not finding any valuables or cash there, have decamped with a modem installed to a CCTV camera.

The burglary took place at the house of one Kishore Iyer on Paramahamsa Road in Yadavagiri.

Kishore, who is staying in Bengaluru, used to come once in a week to the house. Burglars, who had observed his movement, forced their entry into the house by breaking open the front door in a bid to steal gold ornaments or cash from the house. As they (burglars) could not find any valuables, the burglars have made away with a modem installed to the CCTV camera, according to the Police.

V.V. Puram Police have registered a case in this regard.
