Realtors groomed on RERA Act

Mysuru:  Mysore Realtors Association (MRA), along with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Mysore Bar Association, had organised an awareness and legal assistance programme for realtors and public on Mar.12 at a private hotel in city.

Inaugurating the programme, Principal District and Sessions Court Judge S.K. Vantigodi asked realtors and public to go through the Real Estate Regulation and Development Act brought out by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

He observed that a lot of confusions and problems erupt owing to ignorance of the popularly called RERA Act. He said that a team was being constituted to effectively publicise RERA Act.

DLSA Member-Secretary B.P. Devamane said that entrepreneurs and public can also seek the help of DLSA to resolve legal tangles.

Bar Association President S. Anandkumar, MRA President M.D. Adish Sagar, advocate N. Sunder Raj and others were present.
